Day 1

Arrival and welcome to Shacklabank with cream tea and homemade cakes

Early evening walk around the farm,   meeting the animals - Informal assessment of group interests and fitness

Supper in farmhouse or garden

Day 2

Breakfast in farmhouse or garden

Linear walk to discover Dent and its hidden dale including picnic lunch

Return to Shacklabank for tea or coffee, cake, scones etc

In good weather, trip to River Lune to swim in her crystal waters

Evening meal and optional farm activity

Day 3

Breakfast then wander up Wild Boar Fell / Mallerstang Edge

Picnic lunch at Pendragon Castle

Return to Shacklabank for cream tea

Supper

Day 4

Breakfast followed by free morning to explore Sedbergh Book Town

Linear walk of the Howgills with picnic lunch at Winder - Bram Rigg, The Calf, Cautley Cragg.

Arrive at Cross Keys with tea and biscuits

Evening meal at Cross Keys Temperance Inn

Possible evening swim or farm activity

Day 5

Breakfast then option of morning walk to ‘The Clouds’ including picnic lunch

Tea time and fond farewells
