ACCOMMODATION AT SHACKLABANK FARM You will stay on the farm with us and be made to feel like one of the family. The farmhouse is very much a traditional home with open fires, rag rugs, stone flagged floors, low ceilings and oak beams. (We also have the luxury of central heating on colder nights.) You will either stay in the farmhouse itself in a twin en-suite room with views down the Lune valley and across onto The Barbon fells, or in one of our self-contained comfortable country caravans which also have stunning views across open fields, valleys and fell tops. Both types of accommodation have hot showers, soft towels, warm fires, comfy beds with patchwork quilts, and access at all times to tea/coffee/hot chocolate, cakes, biscuits and fruit. We are proud to provide organic products (soaps, shampoos and shower gels) and also Fairtrade teas and coffees. We have a boot/drying room to store all kit, boots and wellies! It’s also a great place to plan routes with plenty of maps and books of the local area. The farmhouse door is always open to all our guests. All our prices are based on two people sharing a room but singles can be arranged. | |
